Character Facts of the Week: Finn from Adventure Time
Finn is one of the main characters from Adventure Time, along with Jake. Here are ten facts about the character. Did you know all of them? Let us know below if you know any more...
1. Finn was apparently abandoned in a wood as a baby. He lay crying on a leaf until Jake's parents rescued him from the wilderness to raise him along with Jake.
2. Finn may be the last human in the Land of Ooo, or possibly the world. In the episode "Her Parents," Lady Rainicorn's dad says he thought humans were extinct.
3. He is 14 years old.
4. He has blonde hair, which can be seen where he removes his hat and long golden locks of hair flow out.
5. He sleeps in red pyjamas.
6. Finn is revealed to be terrified of oceans or seas. He has no problem swimming though, because his fear is specific to the ocean, not small bodies of fresh water…!
7. He seems to hate romance movies and kissing - he actually vomits during a kissing scene in a movie he is watching.
8. His favourite food is meatloaf.
9. Finn and Jake often use maths words for catch-phrases (e.g. mathematical, rhombus, algebraic). As Finn is "terrible at maths", it is possible that he does this to impress Princess Bubblegum, who is a keen mathematician.
10. He is very good at playing a video game called Adventure Masters, which he and Jake play on Beemo from time to time.

I think Finn really is the only human, and that Susan Strong is a hyoomen, A.K.A. "fish person". In the episode "Beautopia", Susan forces Finn into the water so they can swim there, but decides to take a boat because he has no gills. To me, this implies she has gills, because if she has no gills, why would they swim there in the first place?
