Richard Watterson is one of the main characters from The Amazing World of Gumball, along with his family Gumball, Nicole, Darwin and Anais. Here are ten facts about the character. Did you know all of them? Let us know below if you know any more...

1. Even though he is unemployed, Richard is usually seen wearing smart work-type clothes, with a white shirt and light brown trousers.

2. He is also often seen in his underwear, mostly because he is too lazy to put on more clothes.

3. He doesn't seem to have any sense of responsibility or common sense. He is very immature and lazy, and is not a good role model to his children either! (However, Richard genuinely loves his family, and does have good intentions)

4. Although he comes across as not very clever, he seems to be clever enough to get himself out of doing any chores!

5. He loves eating, especially when it comes to sausages. His obsession with food can sometimes get him into trouble, like when he was supposed to help his wife in The Spoon, but instead ended up licking a sausage that was on the floor.

6. He has a spot in his right side of his waist that Gumball likes to poke while he's asleep.

7. He dribbles a lot, (especially when he's asleep).

8. He accidentally admitted that he likes Darwin more than his biological children (but denied it afterwards and said he's his favourite pet fish)!

9. He is 6 feet 4 inches tall.

10. Like his wife and son, Richard goes around barefoot all of the time.
